I created this video for my employer, Visit El Paso for use at our Annual Spirit of Amigo Luncheon during National Travel and Tourism Week 2014.
This was my first time using Adobe After Effects from start to finish! It was definitely a headache, considering I hadn’t really touched After Effects before, other than to make rotating logos or simple mini movies.
I started this project by driving all over town and recording some of our tourism partners talking about why tourism is so important to them. After that, I collected images that exemplify the spirit of El Paso: culture, adventure and entertainment. Finally, I collected some tourism facts that US Travel had given us for use during National Travel and Tourism Week.
It took me 3 days – about 32 hours worth – to figure our After Effects and put this together. I’m really happy with the result!
